Broaching Company Acquires Tooling Manufacturer
Chicago - V W Broaching Service, Inc. (Chicago) recently acquired Broach and Fixture Renewal Service, Inc. (Harvey, IL). The resulting addition of experienced staff and equipment will enable V W Broaching to provide complete broaching services - from initial tool design to final part production - from one location.
Founder and president of Broach and Fixture Renewal Service, Fred Fitzuk, will be joining V W Broaching as will former General Manager, Brian Gillund, and his entire staff. According to Russell Roschman, V W Broaching Service President, "This acquisition is a natural fit with our goal of providing superior machining and tooling services. Fred Fitzuk, and his company's reputation for providing quality tooling reconditioning and manufacturing services at competitive prices, will enhance the services we offer."
In addition to tooling design, fabrication and reconditioning, V W Broaching specializes in production broaching, as well as prototype and emergency repair services. With nearly 60 production broaching machines, three state-of-art Wire EDM machines and five vertical shapers and keyseaters located in their 54,000 square foot facility, V W Broaching Service has the expertise and the equipment to handle all aspects of broaching.
