Broaching Company Acquires Tooling Manufacturer
Chicago — V W Broaching Service, Inc. (Chicago) recently acquired Hennig Broach and Tool Company, Inc. (Thornton, IL). The resulting addition of experienced staff and equipment will enable V W Broaching to provide an entire line of stock keyway broaches with immediate delivery, as well as enhance its custom broach tooling capabilities.
President, and the founder's granddaughter of Hennig Broach and Tool, Susan Hennig, will be joining VW Broaching as will additional staff members. According to Russell Roschman, V W Broaching Service President, "This acquisition is a natural fit with our goal of providing superior machining services and unparalleled broach tooling manufacturing. Sue Hennig and her company's reputation for providing quality, American-made, off-the-shelf, tooling at competitive prices will enhance the products and services we offer."
In addition to tooling design, fabrication and reconditioning, VW Broaching specializes in short-run production, prototype and emergency repair services. With nearly 50 production broaching machines, three state-of-art wire EDM machines and five vertical shapers and keyseaters located in their 54,000 square foot facility, V W Broaching Service has the expertise and the equipment to handle all aspects of broaching.
